Installing MapGuide
Java API for Coldfusion
After you have your MG Server and MG Extensions setup proceed to modify the MG Web Extensions. Normal install of Web Extensions is on IIS with PHP platform. We choose IIS and PHP due to the ease of use and the need for PHP on the MapAdmin side either way.
Choose to Modify the Web Extensions.

Add the Java API.

Now copy files from \WebServerExtensions\Tomcat\bin\ and \WebServerExtensions\www\WEB-INF\lib\ to C:\ColdFusion8\lib (path may be different depending on CF version and install location).
\WebServerExtensions\Tomcat\bin\
\WebServerExtensions\www\WEB-INF\lib\

After all the files have been copied from MG to CF you have to restart the Coldfusion Application Service for Coldfusion to utilize the API files. Full server-side reboot will work as well.
