ArcIMS Site Administration

Site Name is used to name the site that users see logging in and other areas of the application.

ArcIMS Host Name is used to specify the location of the ArcIMS image services. This can be an IP or local computer name as well.

ArcIMS Service Name is used to specify the main image server used for this site’s initial map.

ArcIMS Overview Map Service Name is used to specify a simple version of the map which will be used in the overview map window. This can be the same as the main map but may be hard to view with so many active layers being displayed.

Servlet Path is used in case where a custom servlet path is needed.

Check if site is available is used to globally turn the site on and off. Users will see a site is being updated warning when they log in if the site is not active.

Site Address should not be touched unless you are sending users to a 3rd party site. If this is changed Integrator will not work as normally expected when users click to view a site form the site access list.

Site Description is used on the site access list when site information button is clicked by users.
