Advanced View Administration

From here you can Create new Advanced View or Edit/Delete an existing project.

You can join pre-made Dynamic Table Keys by using the drop downs and selecting a join type. You must know your data to accomplish a working join and get the results you need.

Always test the Advanced View for errors. If successful, you will also get a dropdown with the columns dynamically joined by the view.

Creating/Editing Dynamic Table Keys can be accomplished here. Use drop down to select column and press Add Fields. Once your key has been built always Test SQL for errors. Save when finished. Now you can use new key in Advanced View Wizard. Example use of this would be in one table you need three columns concatenated to equal one column in other table. By creating the keys here you then can join those tables later in the Advanced View Wizard.

Adding a new key required a unique name. This will be the name you see the key displayed as in the Advanced View Wizard.

Then you select the ODBC source this key will be using.

After the ODBC has been selected, choose the table to utilize.

You now have a basic edit window as displayed previously to add and manipulate the new key as desired. This is also the same screen you get when editing an existing Advanced View.
